Case Study: Mascot Sales Fund School Computers
Predicament
After facing many budget cuts, a small school district realized they had to do some fundraising in order to get the resources needed for their students. Understanding that every school in the area was in a similar position, they wanted to do something fun and different to set themselves apart.

Solution
After discussing the project with their promotional products distributor, the school district was able to come up with a plan. The mascot for each of their high schools was a different animal, so they decided to sell plush toys in the shape of each mascot. The stuffed animals would each be wearing a t-shirt that was printed with the school's logo. They created a competition between all of the high schools to see who could raise the most money for their school. The students from winning school would receive a special prize once the contest was over.

Results
The fundraiser was a huge success. The students had fun selling their animals and participating in the light-hearted competition. Many noticed that community members seemed more willing to purchase the animals, as it was something different than what other kids were selling. In addition to this, the district met their fundraising goals and raised enough money to purchase new computers for all of their schools!
