Company Store Features and Functions

Home Page/Template/Catalog

Home Page - TeamWorld will design a custom home page for each company store website. The header, left navigation and footer are considered part of the template, and will remain consistent throughout the web site. The central content area will contain a Flash animation displaying branded products from the store and any other promotional graphics as desired by the customer.

Template Approval Process - TeamWorld will provide non-functioning .jpg layouts of the intended design and graphics and will revise them until the customer is satisfied. Once approved, the .jpg layouts will be converted into code.

Site Updates - TeamWorld will, as part of the site setup, create a rotating slideshow of product images in the central home page content area. These products can be updated with other images or products on a monthly basis to support seasonal events and promotions at the customer's discretion.

Catalog - The customer will determine the product selection and category assignments in conjunction with TeamWorld's sales staff. TeamWorld will set all items up on the site and assign them to the proper categories. Each item can belong to one or more categories or subcategory. For example, the Outerwear category could be broken into Men's and Ladies' sub-categories. There are no limits (beyond usability standards) to the number of categories and subcategories the site can support.

Catalog Updates - TeamWorld will add, remove, or change the pricing of items in the catalog at the customer's discretion.

Item Display - The site will contain the following for each product:
a. Item Name
b. Item Description
c. Color Options
d. Size Options
e. Decoration Location Options (as needed)
f. Logo Options (as needed)
g. SKU (once size is selected)
h. Unit Price and Extended Price
i. Hi-Resolution Item Zoom Display - Each item will have a mouse-over zoom function to zoom in on different sections of the item image.
j. Large Image Popup - Each item will have a link to pop up a large 800x800 pixel image of the item, where such images are available.
k. Size Chart Popup - Apparel items will have a link to pop up a size chart with the measurements for garment sizes where applicable.

Personalized Items - The site can support personalized items, where the end user inputs text into a field. This can be used for custom decoration of names or numbers on a jersey, or personalized embroidery underneath a logo.

Site Search Engine - The site features a simple search engine that will return results (links) to products or pages based on words or phrases entered into the search. The search covers the product name, description, SKU, and non-item page content. For example, searching for the word "polo" will return a list of all pages or items where the product name, description, or SKU contains the word "polo."

Checkout

Shopping Cart Summary - The shopping cart will display a summary in the left-hand navigation showing the number of items and subtotal, in US dollars, of all order items.

Shopping Cart Display - The shopping cart display will show all items currently in the order, with graphical links to edit the item or remove it from the cart. The cart will also display the anticipated shipping time in business days, based on the highest common denominator of all items in the cart. Example: The cart combines three items, one of which is stocked and normally ships on the same business day, one of which is embroidered and ships in 5 business days, and one of which is custom decorated and ships in 10 business days. The cart will show that the entire order is expected to ship in 10 business days, as the order will be shipped together.

Links - The cart will contain a link to continue shopping, to clear the cart, and to begin the checkout process.

Anonymous/Rapid Checkout - The site supports easy/anonymous checkout. A user can check out without having to go through an account creation process. All order history information is stored for reference (except credit card information.)

Secure Checkout - Personal Information Page - Clicking this link will cross the user over to the secure side of the site. That means that all information from that point on will be protected by a 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection and the protocol will convert from http to https. The personal information page will collect the billing and shipping information for the order, along with any customer order instructions. Shipping information is only required if it is different from the billing information.

Secure Checkout - Payment Page - The payment page will accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. In addition, there is a variety of other payment methods that can be used, in part or in full, at the customer's discretion. Please refer to the "Gift Certificates, Discounts, and Payment Options" section below.

Shipping Charges -
1. Domestic - As a standard, TeamWorld charges $7 shipping on all orders under $100, or 7% of the value of the order if the order is over $100, on all domestic orders. Shipping charges can be modified at the customer's discretion, in conjunction with TeamWorld's sales staff. If shipping charges are reduced, the customer is expected to absorb the shipping costs.

2. International - The site will not calculate final shipping on international orders as Duties and other costs must be calculated once the type of merchandise and country is noted. A customer service rep will contact the customer with shipping costs after the order is placed.

Secure Checkout - Order Confirmation - The site will give the end user the opportunity to view all order information before final submission.

Security - All checkout pages are protected with 128-bit SSL encryption. No credit card information is stored on the server.

Gift Certificates, Discounts, Payment Options
1. Budgets - At the customer's discretion, TeamWorld can establish individualized budget codes for authorized users, along with periodic spending limits. The code would be used in the checkout, and the amount of the purchase would be credited against the individual's budget. The customer would be invoiced for the amount of the purchase, and the budget ID would be used for the customer's internal reference.

2. Budget Adjustments - In addition to standard budget functionality, TeamWorld will create an interface for the customer to perform budget modifications for budget-affect events that occur outside of the company store. These budget modifications will be time-stamped and allow input for reasons, and will be able to be viewed in a Budget History interface, where an admin will be able to view all transactions for a specific budget within a specified time range.

3. Gift Certificate Purchase - The site will support the sale and redemption of gift certificates on the site. This is intended to be a stand-alone system and not integrated with any other brick-and-mortar site or other program. If gift certificate integration is desired, TeamWorld will work with the customer to determine the scope of the project, and issue a cost estimate based on that determination. The site will allow the purchase of gift certificates in any dollar amount, and will be deliverable by e-mail to the purchaser or recipient. All gift certificates are serialized and can be used in full or in part on any order. TeamWorld can provide reporting on outstanding/unused gift certificate balances upon request.

4. Internal Gift Certificates - The customer can request, at any time, a list of serialized gift certificate numbers in any quantity and denomination for promotional distribution or internal purposes. The customer will be billed for the use of these certificates at the time they are redeemed on the site in the amount of the portion used.

5. Promotional Discounts - The customer can request coupon or discount codes from TeamWorld at any time. Discount codes are not used in conjunction with each other (i.e. you cannot use two discount codes on the same order). Discount codes can be for a flat dollar value, or a percentage of the order and can be set to run for specific periods of time (e.g. 10% off all orders for the month of December when you use the code XmasPromo2013 in the checkout). Discount codes can be used in conjunction with gift certificates. All promotional discounts are at the customer's discretion and are deducted from the customer's markup.

6. Purchase Orders - At the customer's discretion, TeamWorld can establish terms and a PO code that can be used in the checkout by authorized employees. This will result in the payment being bypassed, and the customer will be invoiced for the value of the order.

7. Order Approvals - In conjunction with budgets, the site supports order approvals. If implemented, every order placed with a budget or PO would generate an order approval e-mail to a predetermined supervisor assigned to that budget, or assigned to supervise Purchase Orders. The order would be held in the system until the supervisor approved or declined the order. Once the order is approved, the order is released for picking/production. If the order is declined, the order placer is notified and the order is cancelled. Each budget number can have a unique supervisor or they can all go to a single supervisor. TeamWorld periodically reviews pending/unapproved orders to ensure that order approval e-mails are not overlooked or lost.

Marketing and Search Engine Optimization

SEO/SEM - TeamWorld will set the site up with proper meta tags for search engine optimization, including title tag, description tags, and keyword tags.

Google Analytics - TeamWorld will implement Google Analytics for tracking site traffic. A periodic report can be sent to authorized personnel at the customer's discretion, detailing site activity and usage information.

Special Referral Tracking - To help support marketing efforts, TeamWorld can provide special referral URLs that can be employed on other sites that link to the company store. These special links will provide sourcing data, and can be reported on to determine the number of leads and sales generated by each source. Example: The customer enters into a marketing agreement with three sites, and agrees to pay them 10% of all sales generated from cross-linking from their sites. TeamWorld would provide the customer with three separate custom URLs that each site would use to link to the customer's ecommerce site. As each link is used, the shopper is tracked through the site and the checkout, and the referral partner is credited for the sale.

Mailing List - The site provides optional functionality for users to sign up for a mailing list, either through a mailing list link in the left navigation, using a checkbox in the checkout, or both. The mailing list is double-opt in. The Mailing list is stored in the database and can be exported into Excel-compatible .csv format and provided to the customer at any time they request it.

Admin Reporting

TeamWorld will provide the customer with a login and password to access site order history. With this, they will be able to view order history filtered by any combination of:
a. Date
b. Item Ordered
c. Customer Name
d. Budget

The customer admins will be able to access Budget history where they can pull up a history of specific budget transactions, including budget adjustments.

All order history reports are exportable to Excel-compatible .csv format.
